Taylor Ryan, Expert Trainer, Releases Her Three Step Natural Weight Loss Program For The Summer Season

Charleston, SC (PRWEB) April 13, 2012

Taylor Ryan, founder and trainer at TheArtofWeightLifting.com, is helping more women hit their body weight goals through effortless weight loss. The system she teaches her clients is a lifestyle makeover taking less than three hours a week. Plus when implemented properly, weight loss naturally happens with little to no stress. It’s the absolute perfect solution for the Summer season.

“There is such an unhealthy focus on losing weight. It destroys a woman’s chance of success. With just a few easy habitual changes, weight loss can be practically stress free,” says Taylor.

Her system is broken into three segments. First, she helps women implement specialized workout routines that only require three, 30 to 40 minutes sessions a week. Second, with just a few nutritional changes, women can drop well over 10 pounds in their first four weeks doing nothing else. And third, group support. Her fitness community engages women sharing the same goals so they can support and help each other succeed.

During this time of year, you will definitely see more celebrity workouts in the big magazines. However, celebrities are typically working out for a movie roll or modeling shoot. “It’s their job to exercise.” says Taylor. “Real women have careers and families. They only need three, 30 to 40 minute, personalized workouts a week to slim down and firm up completely.”

When it comes to nutrition, Taylor’s system is completely different. Taylor says, “to learn how to eat healthy, you start by identifying your fulcrum foods. These are the foods that are mostly responsible for your body packing on fat. Take them away and fat falls off.” According to Taylor once you eliminate these fulcrum foods, it requires very little effort to make over the rest of what you eat on a daily basis.

Taylor helps her clients build trickle down habits. These healthy habits set the tone for a healthy lifestyle. Once started and implemented, burning fat becomes nearly automatic. For example, once her clients begin working out three days a week, they automatically desire to eat healthier foods. When they do this, it strengthens their desire to teach their family and friends. These habits begin to trickle down through every facet of their life.

Protect Plants Against Weather Extremes and Pests this Season

Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) March 29, 2012

Unseasonably warm spring weather has gardeners across the country concerned and speculating about future problems this growing season. Fear of late frosts, spring snow showers, summer heat and drought and the impact all of this could have on plants is on their mind. ?We can?t change the weather, but we can keep our plants healthy and better able to deal with environmental stresses such as cold, heat, and drought as well as insect and disease problems,? says gardening expert, TV/radio host & author Melinda Myers.

Myers shared these tips for keeping plants healthy this season despite weather extremes and other challenges:

Start by selecting plants suited to the growing conditions. Look for the most resistant varieties on the market. Avoiding problems is the best way to save time, money and frustration.

Immunize plants against environmental stress and pest problems with a plant strengthener such as JAZ Spray. This new group of products strengthens plants? own stress tolerance mechanism, so they are better able to deal with adverse conditions. Scientists found when plants were stressed or attacked by insects and disease they produced certain natural molecules. They isolated these and applied them to other plants and found the treated plants were better able to tolerate environmental stress as well as insect and disease attacks. By using a plant strengthener gardeners are proactively boosting a plant?s immune system before environmental stresses hit and ultimately helping it to thrive as it faces serious challenges throughout the season.

Rotate plantings whenever possible. Varying annual flower and vegetable planting designs from year to year helps reduce the build-up of pests. And be sure to start with fresh soil and clean containers each season to avoid problems. This is especially important if problems occurred last season.

Mulch the soil with shredded leaves, evergreen needles or other organic matter to reduce disease problems and environmental stresses on plants. Mulching reduces the spread of soil borne diseases, conserves moisture and moderates soil temperatures.

Monitor plants for insect and disease problems throughout the season. It is easier to control a small population of insects or pluck a few diseased leaves than trying to kill thousands of aphids.

Use barriers of floating row covers like ReeMay or Harvest Guard to protect plants from insects like cabbage worms, root maggots, and bean beetles. Loosely cover the plants with these fabrics and securely anchor the edges to the ground. The fabrics let air, light and water through, but prevent the insects from reaching the plants. These fabrics must be removed when plants requiring pollination begin to bloom.

Use eco-friendly products like insecticidal soap, light weight horticulture oils and Neem when problems arise. Be sure to read and follow label directions carefully.

And always clean up the garden at the end of the season. Remove disease and insect-infested plants to reduce the risk of problems the following season. A bit of prevention goes a long way in creating a beautiful garden that can be enjoyed all season long.

?Taking these simple steps will help build healthy plants with stronger immune systems and a natural tolerance to the environmental stresses they will face throughout the season,? explained Myers.

Nationally known gardening expert, TV/radio host, author & columnist Melinda Myers has more than 30 years of horticulture experience and has written over 20 gardening books, including Can?t Miss Small Space Gardening. She hosts the nationally syndicated Melinda?s Garden Moment segments which air on nearly 100 TV and radio stations throughout the U.S. and Canada. She is a columnist and contributing editor for Birds & Blooms magazine and writes the twice monthly ?Gardeners? Questions? newspaper column. Melinda also has a column in Gardening How-to magazine. Melinda hosted ?The Plant Doctor? radio program for over 20 years as well as seven seasons of Great Lakes Gardener on PBS. She has written articles for Better Homes and Gardens and Fine Gardening and was a columnist and contributing editor for Backyard Living magazine. Tis the Season for Debt Management, Reports Counselling Directory

Camberley, Surrey (PRWEB) December 23, 2011

Unfortunately for many, Christmas does not turn out to be the picture postcard image they had envisaged, with a staggering number of people getting so carried away with splashing out on festivities and gifts that they find themselves dramatically ‘in the red’.

According to survey results from Counselling Directory, 52% of respondents admitted to spending beyond their means at Christmas and almost half of respondents (46%) said they used their credit card to buy gifts.

Whilst Christmas Day may only come once a year, many individuals face lasting after effects as they are left to pay off their Christmas debt well into the New Year.

According to BBC News, Christmas 2011 will push a third of the UK into debt, a worryingly large proportion of the population considering the current fragile economic climate [1].

When it comes to debt there is more than just the practical issue of repayments to consider, with escalating financial woes often leading to depression, anxiety, shame, and in many cases the breakdown of both personal and professional relationships.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of people who set themselves a Christmas budget give into the pressures of overspending and run up huge amounts of debt. With 56% of individuals admitting to feeling pressured into buying presents and 58% feeling stressed and worried as a result of the amount they spend during the yuletide season, what can be done to avoid getting into debt over Christmas?

The most prevalent advice from debt management experts is to plan ahead, prepare and budget – here are a few tips to help you to do so in what can be one of the most costly times of the year:

1. If you already have an outstanding balance on your credit card or are in the process of paying off a personal loan or overdraft, think carefully before spending anymore.

2. If you plan on borrowing money then ensure you have considered how and when you will repay it, and if possible budget for the repayments in advance.

3. Be realistic about your budget. Work out the amount you can afford to spend on each person and stick to it.

4. If you can afford to pay for gifts outright with your own money then no matter how good the deal, don’t be persuaded to take out credit agreements.

5. Read the small print – always scour the small print for any hidden extras in any credit agreement before you sign on the dotted line. Interest free credit may initially seem appealing but if you don’t pay on time you may be penalised and concealed extra costs may leave you worse off.

The most important advice of all is not to feel daunted by the idea of sticking to a budget, and not to fall into the trap of overspending. A moment of gratification watching a loved one opening a lavish gift is not worth the months of unhappiness experienced from being unable to pay the bills.

Evidence and research from the Royal College of Psychiatrists suggests that one in four people with a mental health problem is in debt and one in two people in debt have a mental health problem [2].

This strong evidence linking debt with mental health makes it ever the more important to ensure financial woes are avoided at all costs and are addressed immediately if they do begin to spiral out of control.

There are numerous organisations that provide debt advice and act on the behalf of individuals in negotiations with creditors. Many associations are not for profit and offer their services free of charge with the primary aim of finding the best solution for each individual?s personal situation.

Though practical advice on consolidating and overcoming debt is an essential factor – repaying the money owed is not the only issue to consider when it comes to debt. The underlying emotional factors such as stress and worry can also become overwhelming and it is important that they too are addressed.

Debt management counselling and psychotherapy helps to address the psychological factors and can help individuals to develop ways in which they can move forward on both a practical and emotional level.

Counselling Directory could prove to be a valuable tool for anyone looking for debt management help during this Christmas and New Year period. With a country-wide database of qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, visiting Counselling Directory could play an important role in helping individuals to face up to and resolve their debt problems as soon as possible.

About Counselling Directory

Counselling Directory recognised the need for a service that collated all of the information needed to help those in distress. Having access to the right information and finding the right counsellor is a really important step, and though other directories may supply contact details, Counselling Directory goes that extra mile and provides clarification of the support each counsellor offers.

Counselling Directory lists full profiles, detailing the areas of counselling each counsellor offers, the fees they charge and background information as to the kind of person they are, as well as providing a wealth of information about counselling and psychotherapy on the website so visitors can find all the information they need before choosing a counsellor.

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) December 19, 2011

CashAdvance.com, the most trusted name in the short-term loan industry, announces having reached a record-breaking $ 1 million a day in loan requests this December. In the midst of the retail industry?s evident resurgence this holiday season, as witnessed from Cyber Monday?s 2011 historic sales figures, consumers are seeking recourse in the fiscal sensibility and convenience of online cash advances, the decidedly preferred alternative to the costly overdraft charges and late payment fees imposed by banks and credit card companies.

As the nation embraces a widespread restoration of consumer confidence this holiday season, with consumer sentiment figures rising to their highest in 6 months, CashAdvance.com has been actively supplying the enormous demand for urgently needed short-term cash loans consumers are availing themselves of to cover last-minute holiday expenses.

Since 1997, CashAdvance.com has earned its esteemed reputation as a trailblazing industry leader over the years through its dedication to rescuing consumers from life?s unanticipated mishaps, providing immediate financial relief when needed most. Having connected over a million consumers with payday loans from its vast online network of reliable lenders, CashAdvance.com continually seeks to ensure the best loan experience possible utilizing its advanced proprietary matching technology, along with exclusive access to the largest online network of trusted lenders.

A cash advance, also known as a payday loan, is a short-term loan intended to cover shortfalls in a household?s budget by using the borrower?s next paycheck as their security. On the pre-arranged repayment date, typically within two weeks to one month, the loan amount and applicable fees are conveniently deducted from the borrower?s checking account. Borrowers who are unable to repay their loan on time can potentially request extensions from their lender.

Cash advances are sought out for short-term financial relief in light of urgent, unanticipated expenses and should not be perceived as long-term debt solutions. People who find themselves unprepared for the unexpected, such as a sudden emergency car repair or insurance deductible after an untimely fender-bender, have relied on CashAdvance.com to bail them out of otherwise disastrous predicaments.

Offering insightful personal finance tips on loan planning and effective utilization of cash advances, CashAdvance.com also acts as a destination point from which borrowers can seek to gain real-world insights about the payday loan process, valuable updates about recent regionally specific legislation affecting the industry, and insider guidance on how to maximize the advantages of a cash advance.

Seniors Face Tough Times this Holiday Season; Home Instead Senior Care Network Offers 10 Money-Saving Tips

Omaha, NE (PRWEB) December 15, 2011

Even though Congress increased the debt ceiling earlier this year, allowing older adults to get Social Security checks on time, seniors face financial challenges that could contribute to a bleak holiday.

In 2011, for the second consecutive year, seniors received no Social Security Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), according to the Annual Survey of Senior Costs from The Senior Citizens League (TSCL), a senior advocacy organization. What?s more, seniors can expect to receive only a very small COLA next year, TSCL reported. Unfortunately, a downward trend is continuing for older adults. Since 2000, the COLA has increased just 31 percent, while typical senior expenses have jumped 73 percent, more than twice as fast, according to the survey.

?Cuts of essential items such as food and medication should be of immediate concern to seniors? families,? said President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Jeff Huber of Home Instead, Inc., franchisor of the Home Instead Senior Care

Gondola Resorts Offers Ways to Save Money When Traveling To Ski Resorts in Colorado This Holiday Season

Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 14, 2011

Despite Christmas being less than two weeks away, many holiday travelers are still looking for deals on lodging at Colorado ski resorts. Unfortunately, traveling to Colorado’s world-class ski resorts is often deemed to be very expensive of an endeavor for most people to enjoy. This is particularly true when the budget is tight, but Gondola Resorts has several December discounts that can make it possible for just about anyone to enjoy a Colorado skiing or snowboarding trip this holiday season.

“If you think about it, the holiday season is the best time to take advantage of discounts on vacation rentals and lodging,” said Gino Malara, Gondola Resorts CEO. “With the stress of the holidays, people are looking for a way to get a way. They need a place where they can get away from their worries and simply have fun. And, by following a few simple tips, it really is possible for just about anyone to get a break on prices at any Colorado ski resort.”

In order to save money on a vacation to any ski resort, for example, Gondola Resorts recommends the following four tips in addition to the latest and greatest deals still available:

1) Book late – by booking late, you can find the best deals and take advantage of the inventory that is still open. “Most vacation rental homeowners don’t want their properties to stay empty during the holiday season”, says Malara. “This is just like throwing away money. Thus, open inventory gets discounted right before the holidays. The strategy is in locating the deals.”

CURRENT DEAL: Keystone: 1 bedroom/2 bath. Ski/in Ski/out. Sleeps 5. Price last week-$ 699/nt, this week-$ 349/nt. Reservations 12/18 – 12/26.

2) Avoid rental cars – with gas prices pushing $ 3.35 per gallon in Colorado, renting a vehicle can be expensive. Shuttle services will get you to all of the major ski resorts via any Colorado airport including Denver International Airport. If arriving at Aspen’s Pitkin County Airport, shuttle service is FREE via Gondola Resorts.

CURRENT DEAL: 20% off shuttle service from Denver International Airport to Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek, Steamboat Springs and Copper Mountain.

3) Book condos – there are many lodging options available in Colorado and you can actually save money on travel and other fees if you work with a vacation rental wholesaler or management company rather than working directly with hotels.

CURRENT DEAL: Aspen: $ 235 Per Night at Timber Ridge #3E. 3 blocks to lifts. Save $ 300 per night for Dec 18-23.

4) Travel with a group – by traveling with a group of friends and family members, you can rent one of the many holiday vacation homes or large condos the resorts have to offer and split the costs.

CURRENT DEAL: Telluride, Colorado – 4 bedrooms, 3 baths at “Rocky Road” luxury private home. Rates starting at $ 800/nt.

“We truly feel that renting vacation rentals as opposed to other lodging options is the best way to save money,” continued Mr. Malara. “Not only can you save money on a per-person basis, you can also save money on expenses such as food because you can cook all of your meals in the kitchen. You won’t find that option with the likes of a hotel.”

While a trip to Colorado will still require making a bit of a financial investment, following these simple tips can make this holiday excursion more affordable and attainable. To learn more about renting vacation homes, condos or town homes at Colorado ski resorts, visit GondolaResorts.com.
